- Academic Excellence: Applicants should have attained a minimum ATAR of 99.90 (or an equivalent qualification).
- Year 12 Completion: You must have completed Year 12 either in 2023 or 2022 (if you’re currently on a gap year).
- Citizenship/Residency Status: You should either be an Australian citizen or Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holder, an Australian Permanent Resident, New Zealand Citizen, or an international student who has completed Years 11 and 12 in Australia.
- Tertiary Studies: You should not have completed any previous tertiary studies, except as part of Year 11-12 studies (e.g., Enhanced Studies Program).
- Tertiary Place Application: You must have applied for a tertiary place through QTAC and listed UQ as your first preference in QTAC as of December 18, 2023.
